Nail Art - Kim Laidlaw Nail Design in Paris

Nail art has finally arrived in Paris! No longer confined to the nails of bright and brash Nicki Minaj types, nail art has become a recession-proof way of expressing your fashion credentials for even the most avant garde or conservative of women. With prices starting at €20 for a full set of hand painted nails, Kim Laidlaw can add sophisticated ombré nails to finish your look, pretty sparkles, fierce leopard print, or even cheeky strawberries. The creator of this blog, Kim started doing her own nails with half-moon manicures and found that people in Paris would stop her and ask where she got it done. When she started doing more elaborate designs, people would ask where she bought her stickers, incredulous that the intricate nail art was hand painted. Demand was so high for this service that Kim has now set up her own eponymous mobile nail art business, Kim Laidlaw Nail Design, visiting people's homes for parties, just a manicure, or special events. She was also at Jack's Jumble Sale (organized by the House that Jack Built) at Candelaria last month and will be at Wanderlust for the Joyeux Market Christmas Event. 1. Hi Kim! This looks awesome! Do you use gel polish also for your designs?

    1. Hi Milsters,
No - at the moment I just do natural nails, but am considering incorporating gel polishes if there is enough demand!
