This Saturday sees the 8th edition of the annual European Museum Night take place, an evening when cultural institutions throughout Europe stay open until midnight, with some putting on special attractions including installations and concerts for the occasion. In Paris, 180 events will be taking place for the evening, and access to the majority of participating museums is free, making this a great opportunity to have a nosey around the capital's best permanent collections and current exhibitions without paying a penny. Highlights include live music at the recently revamped Musée d'Orsay, a presentation of the Rites of Spring installation from artist Katarzyna Kozyra at Musée Rodin and a live set from French Electro DJ Joakim Bouaziz at the Grand Palais.
