Guests can chill in the wicker chairs on the wooden decking, amongst the trees and under a canopy of leaves, next to a perfectly manicured lawn, surrounded by unmistakably Parisian architecture, whilst listening to the electro sounds of the guest (often celeb) DJs. It's a far cry from being on a roadside terrasse with its accompanying beeping of horns, traffic fumes and general hoi polloi passers by. This is altogether more exclusive -- as, indeed, you would expect from The Ritz -- with a faint whiff of marina about it, as if your Sunseeker were docked just nearby, perhaps (The Ritz is the stuff of dreams, after all). Or maybe we were just sitting too close to the sushi and the champagne was going to our heads...
