Twinkie, a little gem nestled amongst the seedy sex shops of the rue St Denis in Paris' second arrondissement, is going in my address book as one of the city's top places for an anglo-style weekend brunch.
The brunches come served with delicious breads, a selection of jams and spreads, freshly squeezed juice and tea or coffee. And all that for under €20 - not bad at all for a brunch in the capital. Plus service is super friendly and with a smile, and they gladly replenish the bread and refill your coffee for that authentic anglo-vibe!
Classics such as an English Breakfast (complete with baked beans) or smoked salmon and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce feature on the menu, as well as a gluten-free breakfast, one with an Israeli salad, or just plain old fried eggs.
